Letizia Silvestri, Altha founder and Chief Healing Officer, worked in the high-stress and fast-paced luxury automotive industry for nearly 20 years planning high-end events for clients like Ferrari, Aston Martin, Bentley, Rolls Royce, Lucid, Bugatti, Pirelli, McLaren, and Lamborghini. Although working in this industry allowed her to utilize her vast creativity and impeccable planning skills, it often left her feeling overworked, burnt-out, and fatigued. In an attempt to manage the mental and physical side effects from working in such a demanding field, Letizia started to explore the world of sound healing. Finding that it significantly helped lower her stress levels while also increasing her creativity and productivity at work, Letizia began receiving private sound healing sessions whenever she was able to find the time to.

While building Altha’s sister experiential marketing agency, LSX, Letizia always made sure to implement holistic health practices into her company, even though it was mostly just behind the scenes. She has always recognized the importance of employee health and wellness and noticed how happy employees made effective employees. Once the pandemic hit the luxury events industry came to a quick halt. The large, opulent, luxury events came all seemed to come to an end in a period of a few weeks. This prompted Letizia to see the need for a new kind of kind of luxury: the luxury of wellness.

When the pandemic was at its height, Letizia decided to adopt her beloved dog, Zen. Zen was a rescue dog with a troubled past riddled with abuse and neglect. He suffered from a lot of anxiety and fear which caused many troublesome behavioral issues. In hopes to calm him down and relieve his anxiety, Letizia introduced Zen to the world of animal sound healing. After seeing the incredibly positive soothing effect it had on his behavior, Letizia then became a certified sound healer and started to share the healing benefits of sound with her close community of friends and family.

Although sound healing started out as only a hobby for her, once she discovered the multitude of healing effects it had on both her and Zen, and she had time to reflect on her true purpose during the pandemic, she decided she wanted to share the power of sound healing with the world. She wanted to practice sound healing in a way that complemented her eye for design, dedication to precise planning, and her exemplary organizational skills. Her goal was to use her varied talents and expertise to give busy professionals the tools to live better and feel better – not just for one event but for their daily lives. From this goal, Altha was born.

Today Altha represents Letizia stepping into her true purpose; to share the medicine of sound and to assist people in creating their own daily practice at home for a more balanced, fulfilling life.
