Sound Healing at TEDx Jumeira: Reimagining Wellness for Leaders

On September 13, the JW Marriott in Dubai Marina became the stage for a powerful evening of ideas at TEDx Jumeira, organized in collaboration with the Rotary Club. The theme: reimagining wellness in an age where performance, stress, and lifestyle choices shape not just our personal health, but the collective future of how we live and work.

As one of the featured speakers, I had the honor of introducing the audience to my signature Hypno-Sound Bath™, blending therapeutic hypnosis and sound healing instruments to help the mind and body release tension, regulate emotions, and reprogram unhelpful patterns. Alongside me was Lucas Aoun, a respected biohacker and researcher, who delivered an equally insightful talk on the science of sleep optimization.

The Biohacker’s Lens on Sleep

Lucas’s talk was a highlight of the evening. With clarity and precision, he unpacked practical strategies for improving sleep quality through small, consistent lifestyle changes that support the circadian rhythm and the body’s natural recovery process.
He shared key insights such as:

  • Aligning your body with the sunrise and sunset, reducing artificial light exposure at night.

  • Eating tryptophan-rich foods like kiwi and turkey to naturally boost melatonin.

  • Taking a daily spoonful of cold-pressed olive oil to balance hormones and aid cellular repair.

  • Sleeping with an incline of seven inches, a technique that supports lymphatic flow, detoxification, and spinal alignment.

These practical yet powerful adjustments reminded everyone that sleep is the foundation of wellness—not just for rest, but for emotional balance, performance, and longevity.

Hypno-Sound Bath™: A Different Kind of Talk

Unlike a traditional lecture, my session invited the audience to experience transformation, not just hear about it. Using Crystal Tones™ Alchemy Bowls and Tibetan Bowls, I guided guests into a state of deep calm while seated—demonstrating how sound healing and hypnosis can be integrated even in formal environments like conferences and leadership events.

For many, it was their first time experiencing how quickly the brain’s frequency can shift when the body feels safe. Within minutes, the nervous system began to reset, breathing slowed, and the audience collectively dropped into stillness.
In the context of TEDx, it was a reminder that ideas worth spreading aren’t only intellectual—they are felt, embodied, and lived.

Dinner and Connection

The evening concluded with a beautifully prepared dinner, where speakers, guests, and organizers gathered to share reflections. Conversations flowed naturally—from circadian science to the emotional intelligence cultivated through sound healing.
These moments of connection underscored the essence of events like TEDx Jumeira—not only as platforms for innovation but as catalysts for authentic connection and shared inspiration.

Why Sound Healing Belongs at Conferences

Bringing sound healing into the TEDx format is more than symbolic—it’s a recognition that wellness practices belong in the same spaces where strategy, innovation, and performance are discussed. Today’s leaders face immense cognitive and emotional pressure. Offering them tools for emotional regulation, nervous system reset, and mental clarity is no longer a luxury—it’s essential. From boardrooms in Dubai to summits across the world, sound healing is now being embraced by corporations and conference organizers who understand that sustained success begins with calm, presence, and coherence.
